The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a triple homicide that took place inside of a boarding house, located at 925 McCall Road on November 7, 2020.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered a deceased male, Aleric Cornelius, age 51 and a female, Alice Randle, age 65, inside the house. A third individual was also found inside the house. She was seriously injured and transported by ambulance to the hospital. The injured victim is identified as 46-year-old Colleen Koener. She is remains in critical, but stable condition at the Navicent hospital.

According to investigators, the assailant broke the window of a rear door of the residence and made entry. The victims who lived at the home were bludgeoned with a sharp object.

On November 8, 2020, Bibb Sheriff’s Office investigators continued to canvass the area around the home and also a thick wooded area that was located behind the homes on McCall Road, in an attempt to locate the missing home owner, Chester Novak. At around 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning, investigators discovered the body of 73-year-old Chester Novak, covered with brush. He was located in a wooded area, behind a neighbor’s home.

Also around 2:00 a.m., Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators and members of the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force located Ronald Green Jr. at a hotel on Arkwright Road. Green was taken into custody, without incident. He was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Green is currently in jail, without bond, for the charges of three counts of Murder, Criminal Attempt to Commit a Felony, and a unrelated charge of a Bond Surrender.

According to the Coroner’s Office. The next of kin has been notified.

Homicide Investigation on McCall Road

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double homicide that took place inside of a boarding house, located at 925 McCall Road. The incident occurred on November 7, 2020.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered a deceased male and female inside of the house. A third individual was also found inside of the house. She was seriously injured.

According to the investigators, the assailant broke the window of a rear door of the residence and made entry. Three victims who lived at the residence were bludgeoned with a sharp object.

Bibb Sheriff’s Office investigators have a person of interest in connection with this investigation. A former tenant of the residence, 51-year-old Ronald Green Jr. is wanted for questioning. He is described a black male. He is 5 feet 7 inches in height and weighs approximately 190 lbs. A photograph of Green is attached to this media release.

The owner of the residence, 73-year-old Chester John Novak is reported missing. Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate Mr. Novak.  It is undetermined if Novak was at the residence during the time of the incident. Bibb Sheriff’s Office investigators want to locate Mr. Novak to ensure his safety. Anyone with information of his whereabouts are urged to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. The injured female was transported to the Navicent by ambulance and is listed to be in critical condition.

The names of the deceased cannot be released at this time, until the next of kin has been notified. The name of the injured female also will not be released at this time.
