The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred at Safe Haven Mobile Home Park located at 1294 Glendale Avenue, just after 4:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies arrived on the scene and discovered a male suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to Atrium Health Navicent for medical treatment. According to Medical Staff, the victim has been pronounced deceased. The victim was identified as fifty-eight-year-old David Lamar Morgan of Cochran. According to Coroner Leon Jones, the next of kin has been notified. No one else was reported injured during the incident.
