The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place just after 04:00P.M this evening at the Pizza Hut Restaurant, located at 66 Spring St. It was reported that a suspect entered the restaurant brandishing a pistol. The suspect demanded money from the clerk. After getting an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the scene in dark color older model Sedan with a trash bag covering the tag. No one was injured during this incident.
The suspect was described as being chubby between 250lbs and 270lbs, around five foot five inches tall, with a black bandana over their face and wearing a gray hoodie. Witnesses are unsure if it was a male or female.
