Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a person shot at the Blossom Hill Estates Apartments located at 4006 Mercer University Drive just after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. It was reported that a 15 year old female was found shot once inside an apartment in building 209. A male and infant were inside the apartment at the time deputies arrived at the scene. They were not injured.
The victim was transported to the Navicent Health Hospital to be treated for a single gunshot wound. She is listed in critical condition. No other information is available at this time.
