On November 16, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies were able to locate Aggravated Assault suspect, 25-year-old Tenacio Rodriguez Boyd, with the help of his family members. Boyd was taken into custody without incident. 

He was taken to the Investigations Office and interviewed before being taken to the Bibb County Jail for the charge of Aggravated Assault. He is being held without a bond at this time.

The 60-year-old male victim has been downgraded from critical condition to critical but stable condition at this time.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Aggravated Assault

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a person cut that occurred on Cedar Street near Ell Street, at 3:34 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to the area in regards to a male that had been cut. 

When deputies arrived they found a 60-year-old male with a multiple cuts to the arms and body. It was reported that the Victim was outside of Bowden Homes when he witnessed 25-year-old Tenacio Rodriguez Boyd, who lives in Bowden Homes, rolling around on the ground with a knife. 

The 60-year-old victim said something to Boyd and that is when Boyd stabbed him multiple times. No one else was injured during the incident. 

The victim was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center for treatment and is listed in critical condition at this time.

Boyd fled on foot before deputies arrived. If anyone knows the whereabouts of Boyd they are asked to call the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. Boyd is considered dangerous and should not be approached.  Boyd is five foot ten inches tall and weighs one hundred and sixty eight pounds, he was last seen wearing an unknown color t-shirt and jeans.  A picture of Boyd is attached to the release.
