The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a collision with serious injuries that occurred on Broadway, near Flamingo Drive. The collision was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at around 7:09pm, Saturday.
It was reported that a GMC was traveling north on Broadway when it collided with a tractor trailer that was pulling out of a driveway.
The driver of the GMC, 72-year-old Larry Ryder of Macon and his passenger, 67-year-old Wanda Washington of Warner Robins, were transported to the Atrium Health Navicent by ambulance. Both Ryder and Washington are listed to be in critical condition.
This traffic collision is under investigation.
