On Tuesday May 7, 2019 just after 7:00pm Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested a Macon man for the Murder of Keshawn Maurice Jackson.
18-year-old Kyshaun Rashad Jones was charged in with Murder and is being held in the Bibb County Jail at this time. He is being held without bond. Jones was taken into custody at his place of employment without incident.
It was reported that Jones and Jackson had gotten into a dispute when Jackson stopped on Briarcliff Road to talk to Jones. During the altercation Jones shot Jackson once in the head. Jones then fled the scene on foot.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Homicide in East Macon
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred on Briarcliff Road at Boulevard just before 10:00p.m. Monday night May 6, 2019. Deputies responded to a report of shots fired in the area. Upon arrival deputies found a black male lying in in the driver seat of a Toyota Corolla with a gunshot to the head. The victim was identified as 18yr old Keshawn Maurice Jackson of Macon. Jackson was pronounced deceased on scene. The next of kin has been notified. The suspect had already fled the scene before Deputies arrived. No one else was injured during the incident. There is no suspect information at this time.
