Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators, with the assistance of the Riverdale Police Department, made an arrest today in the murder of 32 year old Rollie Vaughn. Riverdale Police arrested 19 year old Rashad Brown and 21 year old Jarsdney Newberry on unrelated charges of Aggravated Assault and Armed Robbery in Riverdale Georgia. Brown was arrested on September 20th and Newberry was arrested on September 26, 2016.
Information was received during the investigation that led to Brown and Newberry’s arrest for the homicide of Vaughn. Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators issued arrest warrants today for Rashad Brown and Jarsdney Newberry. Both are charged with Armed Robbery and Felony Murder. Both are being held in the Clayton County Jail at the present time.
