Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies arrested two people for drug charges on I-16, near Exit 6, (Ocmulgee East Blvd) at around 11:00p.m. Monday.

While monitoring traffic on the interstate, deputies noticed a black GMC Envoy with a headlight out. The vehicle then began changing lanes quickly. The deputies stopped the vehicle for traffic violations. When the deputies made contact with the driver there was an odor of Marijuana coming from inside the car.

The driver was identified as 24-year-old Jamen Kay Gatewood, of Marietta GA. There was also a male, identified as 17-year-old Bran Valdovinos of Smyrna GA., sitting in the back seat of the car.
