On September 4, 2019, at 09:40 a.m., Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies along with the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force were attempting to serve a warrant at 4952 Romizer Drive, Roadway Inn, on a subject that was wanted out of Cherokee County.
They were attempting to arrest, 22-year-old Lauren Nicole Williams, of Nicholls GA. When officers made contact with Williams she pulled a knife and attempted to cut them. Officers were able to detain Williams after tasing her twice and then using a shield to restrain her. No one was injured during the incident.
Williams was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with five counts of Aggravated Assault on Peace Officer. She is being held without bond at this time. She also has the hold for Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on the multiple warrants.
