The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a gold colored 4-door vehicle, possibly a Honda Accord or Toyota. Investigators are also asking for assistance identifying a person of interest. This is in reference to the homicide of Jontavious Towns whose body was found in the driveway of 1557 Rosecrest Avenue on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 just before 4:00 p.m.
Towns was seen getting into the gold vehicle at the Roadway Inn at 4952 Romeiser Road on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at around 2:30 a.m. The picture noted as Pic 1 is the gold vehicle and the person standing on the passenger side of the vehicle is believed to be the victim Jontavious Towns. The picture noted as Pic 2 is also the gold colored vehicle. Both pictures were taken from video surveillance at a store near the Roadway Inn and are from Sunday, October 29, 2017.
The picture attached noted as Pic 3 is the gold colored vehicle which is on the driver’s side of a white SUV. The person standing next to the gold vehicle is a person of interest that Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are asking for help identifying.
