The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 30 year old Johntellis Montez Mathis. Mathis is wanted in the shooting that occurred at the Waffle House located at 4094 Pio Nono Avenue just after 3:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Johntellis Mathis is a black male. He is approximately 5’11” in height and weighs around 225 pounds. A photograph of Mathis is attached. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Person Shot At Waffle House In South Macon
Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a person shot at 4094 Rocky Creek Rd, the Waffle House, just after 3:00a.m. Wednesday morning. It was reported that during an argument between several subjects an unknown male fired shots striking 32yr old Kelvin Grayer in the right leg and 30yr old Winford Davis was grazed. Grayer was transported by E.M.S. to the Navicent Health Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition at this time. Davis went to the Navicent Medical Center by personal vehicle and was treated and released. No one else was injured during this incident. The suspect was described as a black male wearing dark clothes.
