The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance. On May 7, 2018 around 1230am on Vineville Ave near the intersection of Forest Ave a female pedestrian was struck and killed. The pedestrian was identified as 46 year- old Teresa Reynolds. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is reaching out to the public for any information regarding this incident.
To the driver of the vehicle involved, it is suspected that Teresa was laying in the roadway prior to the incident. Next to her was a black trash bag with her belongings. Teresa is 5’6 tall and around 100 lbs. and was wearing a loose fitting hospital gown. It is very possible you assumed what you hit was debris in the roadway. We think you swerved in attempts to avoid what you perceived in the road. The Sheriff’s Office is pleading with you to come forward so that you may clear your conscience.
