Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to the CVS at 4080 Bloomfield Road in regards to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival deputies witnessed 51-year-old Elvis Lester Hill, of Macon, running from the store.
Deputies were able to take Hill into custody after a short foot chase. It was found that Hill had busted out a window and entered the store and took a package of toilet paper.
Hill was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Burglary. He is being held without bond at this time. Hill is also being held on Violation of Probation charges for unrelated cases.
