The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and members of the US Marshals Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested two men with outstanding arrest warrants after the men attempted to elude law enforcement officers at around 10:00 a.m. Monday morning.

Law enforcement officers spotted 19 yr. old Gregory Bernard Pettigrew Jr. and passenger 19 yr. old Jerome Parris Grayer as they were attempting to make a right turn from Tredway Drive onto New Clinton Road. Pettigrew was driving a silver Chrysler 200. Fugitive Task Force members turned on their blue lights as they blocked off New Clinton Road, in an attempt to stop Pettigrew’s vehicle. Pettigrew drove pass the law enforcement vehicles, striking one of the vehicles, as he attempted to elude officers. Pettigrew went off of the roadway and down an embankment. Law Enforcement officers were able to take both men into custody at the scene.
