The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office received a tip that Mrs. Nona Thomas McNeil was at a assisted living home in Twiggs county. Deputies from Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office were able to confirm that she was living there and safe. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank everyone for their assistance in locating Mrs. McNeil.

Public’s Assistance Locating A Missing Person
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 66 year old Nona Thomas McNeill, of Macon. McNeill daughter reported on April 19, 2018 that she has not heard from her mother since March 27, 2018.
Investigators with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office are currently working on the case following up on information in order to locate McNeill. She was last seen by her daughter at her home on Villa Avenue. It was reported that McNeill had an argument with her daughter before walking away from the home, heading in the direction of Grand Avenue. Her daughter reported she has done this before but never stayed away this long. McNeill daughter reported that her mother is a diabetic and may need medical attention. She is a black female, 5 feet 5 inches in height and weighs approximately 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing black leggings and a gray sweater. A photograph of Nona McNeill is attached.
