The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting that took place in the 700 block of Villa Crest Avenue. The incident occurred at around 5:49p.m.
It was reported that 21-year-old Deshafore DeAndre Hicks died as a result of a gunshot wound. Hicks passed at the scene. Investigators are continuing to investigate this incident in an attempt to determine the events surrounding this case. No one else was injured during this incident.
According to Coroner Leon Jones, the next of kin has been notified. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
