Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a fire at the Pacecar Express located at 2243 Shurling Drive just after 2:00 a.m. this morning. When deputies arrived, Macon-Bibb Firefighters were at the scene. It was reported that there was a fire inside the business. Merchandise from the store was also found outside and around the business. Macon-Bibb Fire Investigators are looking into the fire as an arson. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking into the business being burglarized. A window on the store had been broken out. It was reported that there was no power to the building at the time of the incident.
