Superior Court Probation Department of Community Supervision Officers along with Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputies were doing a routine check of a probationer’s residence just before 08:00am. During the check a pistol was located.
25 year-old Antonio Jamal Smith was taken into custody without incident. Deputies checked the firearm and it was discovered that the pistol was stolen out of Hancock County on March 20, 2017.
Smith was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Theft by Receiving Stolen Property. He is being held on $9,750.00 bond
