The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal single vehicle accident at the intersection of Sardis Church Road and Barfield Road. The accident took place at around 8:22p.m. Wednesday night.
It was reported that a white in color Chevrolet Silverado truck was traveling west on Sardis Church Road. The driver of the truck lost control and hit an embankment near the intersection of Barfield Road.
When deputies arrived, they found that two males were ejected from the truck and a female was still inside of the truck.
The female victim and one of the male victims were pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Leon Jones. The second male was transported to the Navicent hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
The names of the deceased and the third victim will not be released until the next of kin has been notified.
This fatal accident is under investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
