The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred on Wesleyan Drive after 10:00 p.m. Saturday night. It was reported that 56 yr. old Gilda Johnson of Macon was traveling on Wesleyan Drive towards Bowman Road in her Black Nissan Murano when a vehicle entered her lane of travel. Her vehicle was struck by a Ford Fusion, head-on, driven by 45 yr. old William Miller of Wrightsville.
Miller and his passenger 45yr old Paula Carter along with Johnson were taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center for treatment. Miller was pronounced deceased by the Navicent doctors. Carter is listed in critical condition and Johnson is listed in stable condition at this time.
