Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Macon man for Burglary on July 16, 2019, just before 03:00 a.m. at the Dollar General located at 5544 Thomaston Road. Deputies were checking the area when they witnessed a white male walk up to the front door and bust the glass out of the Dollar General.

Deputies waited until the suspect tried to exit the store and confronted him. The suspect, identified as 35-year-old Taucedi Edward Perin, tried to run from deputies but was chased down. When deputies caught up to him he continued to struggle and fight with deputies. Deputies were able to take Perin into custody. At this time Perin has been linked to seven Burglaries involving Family Dollar and Dollar General Stores.

Perin was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with seven counts of Commercial Burglary, Possession of Tool for the Commission of a Crime, Obstruction of a Peace Officer and he had a warrant out of Griffin Police Department. He is being held without bond at this time. More charges are pending further investigation.
