The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of an armed robbery that took place at the Family Dollar, located at 160 Emery Highway. It was reported that a black male, wearing a white colored t-shirt to cover his face, went into the Family Dollar at around 10:25 Sunday night. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.
Once the suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash, they fled the store. No one was injured during this incident.
