The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Armed Robbery of the Waffle House Restaurant, at 2644 Riverside Drive. The incident occurred just before 05:00 a.m. Wednesday morning. It was reported that two black male suspects entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. The suspects were brandishing handguns. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, they fled on foot, toward S&S Cafeteria. No one was injured in the incident.
The suspects were described as wearing dark clothing, ski masks and gloves.
