The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Armed Robbery of the Family Dollar, located at 160 Emery Highway. The incident occurred at 9:44pm Saturday night. It was reported that the suspect, described as a black male, entered the store brandishing a shotgun and fired one shot into the ceiling of the business. The suspect then demanded money from the store clerk. After the suspect received an undisclosed amount of money, he fled the store in an unknown direction. No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect was described as black male wearing dark clothing with a mask covering his face.
