The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred on Monday night just before 10:00 p.m. at the Dollar General Store located at 3824 Pio Nono Avenue. It was reported that two black males entered the store with handguns and ordered everyone to get on the floor. One of the suspects told the employee to open the safe. The employee could not open the safe. The suspect then told the employee to open the cash drawer. The suspects took the cash drawer with an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store on foot. As the suspects ran towards the top of the parking lot near Pio Nono Avenue, a customer exited the store and the suspects started shooting back towards the store. The window of the Cricket Wireless Store next to the Dollar General was struck and damaged. No one was injured during the incident.

One of the suspects was described as being tall and having dreads. He was also wearing a white t-shirt. No other information is available at this time on the suspects.
