The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has been awarded a grant totaling $3,000.00 from the Georgia Emergency Management Agency grant funds.
The grant was awarded to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office to go towards veterinarian professional services, small equipment, boots/and protective/climbing gear for the K-9 officers serving Macon-Bibb County citizens for public safety services. The grant also includes funding for dog food, treats, and K-9 toys.
This grant was awarded on October 5, 2019, and funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The grant was approved during the Macon-Bibb County Commissioners meeting on October 15, 2019.
