The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Outreach Section will be hosting the fourth annual “Santa in the Park” on Thursday December 21, 2017 at the Buck Melton Community Center, located at 150 Sessions Drive. The time for the event is 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event is free and open to all children ages 4 – 15 and that live in Bibb County. Children are chosen through a careful selection process prior to the event. Any family not receiving notification of their child being on the list prior to the event will have to register at the park on the day of the event, December 21, 2017 and will be placed on a waiting list. Those children will receive toys on a first come first served basis. Proof of residence in Bibb County is required, such as a current utility bill and must be brought on the day of the event.
