Bibb County Sheriff Deputies responded to a call at 12:10am of a female shot, in the 3000 block of Melbourne Street. When Deputies arrived they made contact with 45 year old Kris Reese. Reese told deputies that he and his girlfriend 42 year old April Young was leaving a party on Houston Ave when someone shot into his vehicle striking Young in her chest. Reese then drove to his home located on Melbourne Street where he called 911 for help. Reese was transported to the Detective Bureau where he was interviewed and later charged with Aggravated Assault family violence. Young is listed in stable condition.
