Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Majestic Garden Apartments, located at 2560 Rocky Creek Road, in reference to a report of two men shot just before 5:00 a.m. Friday. When deputies arrived they found the victims, 18 year old, Tyveontae King and 20 year old ,Raymond Respress in the apartment hallway with a single gunshot wound to their leg. King was shot in the right leg and Respress was shot in the left leg.
It was reported that both King and Respress had just exited a vehicle after returning from the corner store when gun shots were fired at them from an unknown direction.
There is no information available at this time on the description of the suspect. King and Respress were transported to a local hospital by ambulance. They are both listed in stable condition.
