Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a person shot at around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. Deputies were sent to Fort Hill Street at Williams Street. When deputies arrived they found the male victim, 25 year old Tercetis Roberson of Macon, lying outside of 616 Williams Street East, which is near the intersection.

It was reported to deputies that Roberson was walking his dog in the area when he was shot in the leg. He stumbled up to the residence on Williams Street East and told someone outside that he had been shot. The witness called 911 for help. It was reported that a white full-size SUV, possibly a Chevrolet, may have been involved in the incident. Roberson was taken to the Navicent Health Hospital to be treated for the gunshot wound and is listed in stable condition. No one else was injured and no information is available on a suspect at this time.
