The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Attempted Commercial Armed Robbery that occurred Wednesday morning at 8:26 a.m., at the Lucky Food Mart located at 2400 Second Street.
It was reported that a masked male entered the business brandishing a handgun. The male demanded money and attempted to open the register, but was unable to get any cash. He fled the business on foot, and was last seen running towards Ell Street. No one was injured during this incident. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
The individual is described as a slender male wearing all black with a mask.
