Arrest Made On Homicide That Occurred In South Macon
An arrest was made today in the homicide of 29 year old Javoris Butler, of Macon, that occurred on Tuesday July 21, 2015 in Pendleton Homes. The US Marshal’s Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force along with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office learned through the investigation, the location of Steve Anthony Fort, who was wanted for the murder of Butler.
The US Marshal’s Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force in Virginia was notified that Fort was at a location in the Suffolk Virginia area. The task force located and arrested Fort without incident at around 3:30PM and will be transported back to Bibb County. Steve Anthony Fort is charged with homicide, kidnapping and armed robbery.
