On Saturday afternoon at around 04:00 p.m. the US Marshals Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force and Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies located Trayvion Lamonte Burney at an address on Vacation Dr. They were able to take Burney into custody without incident. Burney was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and booked on the charge of murder, aggravated assault, criminal damage to property and probation violation. He currently has no bond.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Homicide in East Macon
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred at 1013 Dennis St just after 09:00p.m. Tuesday night. It was reported that 38yr old Jackie Dewayne Rouse and 31yr old Quincey Bernard Emory were at a party at 1013 Dennis St. when there was an altercation. Rouse and Emory were shot during the altercation. Rouse was shot in the left arm and ran to a nearby residence where he was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center and is listed in stable condition. Rouse was pronounced deceased on scene by medical personal. No one else was injured in the incident. Next of kin has been notified.
