Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators charged 41 year old Thelonius McArthur Sumpter, after interviewing him in connection to the homicide investigation of Ryan Lee Glover.
At around 1:00p.m., members of the U.S. Marshal’s Regional Fugitive Task Force, located Sumpter at a house located on Napier Avenue. Sumpter was arrested by the task force on two warrants that are unrelated to this case investigation. Members of the Task Force also picked up Sumpter’s girlfriend, 41-year-old, Shirderia Dorsey, also from Macon.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators were contacted after Sumpter was located. Sumpter and Dorsey were transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Annex, where they were interviewed about the homicide investigation on Ryan Lee Glover. Investigators placed Sumpter and Dorsey under arrest after the interview was complete.
Sumpter is currently being held for the charge of Murder. Dorsey was also arrested in connection to this investigation and charged with Murder-Party to the Crime. Both are in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Complex, without bond.

Public’s Assistance Requested in Homicide Investigation
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 41-year-old Thelonius McAuthor Sumpter, who is wanted for questioning in connection with the homicide investigation of 35-year-old Ryan Lee Glover.
Sumpter is described as a black male. He is around 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 11 inches in height, weighs approximately 215 to 245 lbs., and he has brown eyes.

Homicide Investigation near Central City Park
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred in the 100 block of Walnut Street. Deputies responded to a report of an unresponsive person, at what appears to be a campsite, located in a wooded area near Central City Park.
Upon arrival, deputies found a deceased male in the wooded area. Crime Scene Investigators discovered that the male had been stabbed in the back.
Investigators were able to identify the victim as 35-year-old Ryan Lee Glover. The next of kin has been notified.
