The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred at 1187 Edna Place, The Summit Apartments, just before 12:00 p.m.
When deputies arrived on scene they found 26-year-old Terrence Torman, of Ashville N.C. laying in an upstairs apart with a gunshot wound to the right leg. It was reported that Torman was sitting on the steps to the apartment when a young black male walked up and shot him. Torman was transported to the Navicent Health Medical Center and is listed in stable condition at this time. No one else was injured in the incident. There is no further information on the suspect.
