The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred at the 4500 block of Mikado Ave just before 4:00pm. It was reported that the suspect only known by the nickname Dee came to the location to collect money for a job he worked for a Mr.Willie Dempsey. Dee and Dempsey begin to argue about the payment date. When Dempsey told Dee he would not have the money until Saturday. Dee became upset and presented a gun and fired several times. 20yr old Hakeem Bolden was shot in the left shoulder, 46 yr. old Gaynel Gooden was shot in the right finger and 26yr old Tayvon Dempsey was shot in the right forearm. Dee fled the area on foot.
Bolden and Dempsey went to the Navicent Hospital and is listed in stable condition at this time. Gooden declined medical treatment. No one else was injured in the incident. There is no further information on the suspect at this time.
