The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred in the parking lot of 1401 Gray Highway, Walmart at 7:50 p.m.
Deputies responded to Walmart on Gray Highway regarding a call of a person shot in the parking lot. When deputies arrived they discovered there was not a shooting victim.
It was stated that a female customer was going to her vehicle when 62-old-Lucy Meeks, of Macon, said something to her. When the female victim asked what Meeks said, Meeks pulled a pistol and started shooting. The victim was not injured during the incident.
Meeks was taken into custody without incident. She was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Aggravated Assault. Meeks is being held without bond at this time.
