Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies answered a call of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the 3800 block of Northside Drive just before 1:15 a.m. Saturday morning. It was reported that a 2006 Chevrolet Impala, driven by 29 year old Nicoshia Taylor of Warner Robins, was traveling west on Northside Drive. Taylor saw the pedestrian, 23 year old Christina Richardson of Macon , in her lane and tried to avoid striking her, but was unable to do so.
Richardson was transported to the Navicent Health Hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Next of kin was notified by the Bibb County Coroners Office.
The accident is currently being investigated and no charges have been made at this time. Anyone with information about this accident is asked to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500.
