At 01:30 a.m. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators were contacted by 18-year-old Semaj Dayion Martin, regarding him wanting to turn himself over to deputies.

Investigators met with Martin at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigations Office and interviewed Martin. He was later transported to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Aggravated Assault and is being held without bond.

Asking for the Public’s Assistance in Locating Suspect Wanted in Aggravated Assault Investigation

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a suspect wanted in connection to an aggravated assault that took place on Center Street on December 6, 2020.

Investigators are looking for 18-year-old Semaj Martin, of Macon. Martin is 5 ft 8 inches in height and weighs approximately 200 lbs.

Aggravated Assault Incident on Center Street

The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred in the 600 block of Center Street at 4:41 p.m.

It was reported that a 15-year-old male was on the front porch of the residence when several shots were heard. The 15-year-old was struck multiple times in the upper body. The victim was transported to the Navicent Health Medical Center and is listed in critical condition at this time. No one else was injured in the incident. There is no information on the suspect currently.
