The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a deceased person at the America’s Best Value Inn, located at 4951 Romeiser Drive, on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at around 2:00 p.m. It was reported that 22-year-old Jarrium “Malik” Fuller was found deceased in room #228.

Investigators determined that the incident was “suspicious” in nature. Fuller’s body was transported to the Georgia Crime Lab, so that an autopsy could be conducted.

The autopsy concluded that Fuller died as a result of asphyxiation, caused by strangulation. Investigators continued to work on the investigation and learned that Fuller had an altercation with two men. During the altercation, Fuller was choked which led to Fuller’s death.

Investigators identified the two individuals who were in the altercation with Fuller and had arrest warrants issued for both men.

On August 27, 2019, the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and members of the Bibb Sheriff’s Special Response Team, located an arrested 31-year-old, Leetravis Lashon Briscoe on warrants issued in connection with the death of Jarrium Malik Fuller. Briscoe was found at a hotel on Chambers Road.

Briscoe is currently being held, without bond, at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center for the charge of Murder.

Tuesday night, Investigators were able to make contact with the second suspect, 38-year-old Earl DeWayne Adams. He turned himself over to investigators and was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.  Adams is being held, without bond, for the charge of Murder.
