The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office received information at around 9:45 p.m. tonight from the Georgia Department of Transportation on the Vineville Avenue Road closure. They advise the reopening of Vineville Avenue has been moved to 5:00 a.m. Thursday morning as it is anticipated it will take this long for the concrete to cure in the area that has been repaired.
Until the roadway is reopened, detour locations remain the same on Vineville Avenue. Inbound traffic on Vineville Avenue is being detoured at Desoto Place. Outbound traffic on Vineville Avenue is being detoured at Pionono Avenue.
