Update: Road Closure on Vineville Avenue The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office received information at around 3:10 p.m. today from the Georgia Department of Transportation that the small stretch of Vineville Avenue between Desoto Place and Pionono Avenue will remain closed to traffic tonight through most of Wednesday. The detour locations remain the same. Inbound traffic on Vineville Avenue is being detoured at Desoto Place. Outbound traffic on Vineville Avenue is being detoured at Pionono Avenue. We again ask that this evening and tomorrow morning’s commuters to be advised that there may be delays due to the detours. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office will keep everyone updated on any changes as to the time period of the road closure and any further delays.
