The vehicle used in this aggravated assault was recovered. A deputy spotted the vehicle near Bloomfield Drive just moments after the incident. The deputy initiated a traffic stop. The driver and passenger fled the vehicle. The deputy gave chase but was unable to apprehend the suspects once they entered a wooded area.
It has not been determined if the vehicle and suspects in this case are related to the Gray Highway, Overlook Garden Apartment incident. Both incidents are still under investigation.

Aggravated Assault on Pansy Avenue
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated assault that took place on Pansy Avenue at around 2:48p.m. Monday afternoon. It was reported that 33 year old Calvin Thomas Hugley was standing near the corner of Pansy Avenue and Iris Street when several suspects in a gold Honda vehicle , drove by and shot towards Hugley.
Hugley was injured during this incident and was transported by ambulance to the Navicent Health Center. Hugley is listed to be in critical condition.
Investigators are continuing to process evidence and canvass the neighborhood in an attempt to identify the individuals involved. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
