The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal single-vehicle traffic accident that took place at 2:47 p.m., Saturday. The accident occurred in the 4300 block of Napier Avenue.
It was reported that the driver of a red Acura Integra lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and struck a tree.
The male driver, later identified as 37-year-old Antonio Eugene Dumas, was pronounced deceased at the scene. According to Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley, the next of kin has been notified.
This accident is still under investigation.
