The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a fatal traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 75, just north of Bass Rd. The accident took place at around 1:32p.m., Sunday. According to witness statements, 20-year-old Natroya Hulbert of Alpharetta, was traveling north on interstate 75 in a Pontiac Grand Am. The witness stated that after the Grand Am passed the Bass Road overpass, Hulbert lost control of the vehicle and ran off of the roadway. The vehicle went down an embankment and traveled back up the other side until the vehicle hit a tree, and then rolled over.
Both Hulbert and Malcolm were transported to Navicent Health. Hulbert was pronounced dead at the hospital. The passenger, a 20- year- old Danyelle Malcolm of Decatur, Ga. is listed to be in stable condition. No one else was injured in this single vehicle accident.
According to Coroner Miley, the next of kin has been notified.
