Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to 4028 Suzanne Drive at around 6:30a.m., after 20-year-old Drevon Lashuwn McLaurin stated that he was being attacked by an intruder, with a hammer. McLaurin said that he shot the intruder after he was hit in the head with a hammer.
McLaurin was transported to a local hospital where he is listed to be in stable condition. The intruder was found deceased inside of the house.
The deceased, 49– year- old, Andrew Darrell Brown of Macon was pronounced dead on the scene by Coroner Leon Jones.
The incident is being investigated by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
