The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office was advised that Eric Lawson was located and returned home safely. He has been removed from NCIC as a missing person.

Asking for the Public’s Assistance in Locating a Missing Person

 The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing person.  Eric Lawson was last seen around 9:15 p.m. Thursday at his home inside the 2500 block of Allan Way in Macon.

Lawson is called Eric and responds to that name or Harry. He is described as a white male, 39 years old, with dark hair (crew cut). He is 5 feet to 5 feet 2 inches in height and weighs from 155 to 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a t-shirt and green pajama pants. Eric Lawson is mentally disabled and is reported to have the mind of a young child according to his family. If approached, he may appear to be frightened and may run. Lawson has walked away from his home before and has been located as far as Gray, Lizella, and Warner Robins.
