The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office was notified that 70-year-old Maria Angelica Lopez has been found, safe and sound. Lopez has been removed from the NCIC system as missing.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Asking for the Public’s Assistance in Locating a Missing Person
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a missing person.
It was reported that on December 23, 2023, the family of 70-year-old Maria Angelica Lopez of Macon had been last seen around 03:00 a.m… Lopez’s family members stated that she suffers from medical issues. Lopez is approximately four-foot-nine inches tall and around eighty to ninety pounds. She went missing from a residence in the 2000 block of Vineville Avenue. It is unknown what she is wearing. She has gray hair and is of slender build. Currently, there are no signs of foul play, but she suffers from medical issues and does not speak English.
