The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office located 63-year-old Gerald Williams near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Walnut Street at 9:20 p.m. Williams was spotted by a person driving by and they contacted the Sheriff’s Office. Williams was taken to the Coliseum Hospital to be checked out. He was found uninjured.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the public for their assistance locating Williams so quickly.

Asking for the Public’s Assistance in Locating Missing Person

Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in a missing person investigation. It was reported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office that 63-year-old Gerald Wayman Williams, of Macon, was last seen leaving the Medical Center on Monday April 20, 2020. Williams’ sister contacted the Sheriff’s Office to report him missing when he never returned home. He was last seen wearing a green hoodie, gray sweat pants and brown shoes. Williams is five foot nine inches tall and weighs one hundred and seventy pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.

Williams has several medical issues and may need medical attention. He is known to hang out in the Shurling Drive area. Two photographs of Williams are attached to this media release.
